Interpretation Competency

This competency is completed during the fall semester of your DS4 year. It is a one-on-one session with the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist. You will be given 30 minutes to asses a Full Mouth Series of radiographs as well as a Panoramic radiograph using the Radiographic Interpretation form in axiUm. You will then partake in a 30 minute oral assessment during which you will be required to identify radiographic anatomy, assess the images for pathoses/anomalies, and identify acquisition errors.
