What is ASDA?
ASDA is the American Student Dental Association — a national organization that is made up of local chapters and regional districts.
Colorado ASDA
The Colorado chapter of the American Student Dental Association is a local, student-run organization that serves to introduce student members to organized dentistry, to encourage involvement in local, regional and national leadership, and to educate and inform members on all dental related state and national legislation.
Mission: Provide valuable opportunities for leadership, service, education, representation, advocacy, professionalism, networking, and social interaction through effective communication, meaningful activities, and user-friendly resources.
Vision: To inspire students and faculty at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine to engage in organized dentistry by promoting a culture of wellness, unity, and excellence.
District 9
Colorado, Houston, Oklahoma, San Antonio, and Texas A&M are all in District 9. Districts are an important part of the ASDA experience and organization because they help facilitate idea sharing and support.
National ASDA
The American Student Dental Association is a national student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests and welfare of dental students. It introduces students to lifelong involvement in organized dentistry and provides services, information, education, representation and advocacy.
